Iowa Statewide Perinatal Care Program

The Statewide Perinatal Care Program provides training for health care professionals including:

• The development of evidence-based guidelines and standards of care
• Consultation to regional and primary providers
• Evaluation of the quality of care delivered to reduce the mortality and morbidity of infants
• Ongoing education for patients in all communities to receive the highest level of care within their communities
